Woodcutting
Woodcutting is a gathering skill that lets players chop trees into logs. Logs are used in Firemaking and future crafting content.
Getting Started
To begin woodcutting, equip an axe in your hotbar. Approach a tree and tap Chop. Your success chance depends on the tree type and your current axe.

Training Tips
- Levels 1-10: Chop
Birch Logs trees for quick gains. - Levels 10-20: Move to
Oak Logs once you have an
Iron Axe. - Levels 20-30: Focus
Pine Logs with a
Mithril Axe. - Levels 30+: Chop
Cedar Logs for the highest current XP.
