Woodcutting
Woodcutting is a gathering skill that lets players chop trees into logs. Logs are used in Firemaking and Fletching for shafts, crossbows, and mulch.
Getting Started
To begin woodcutting, keep an axe in your inventory or toolbelt. Approach a tree and tap Chop. Higher-level trees require stronger axes.
Axes
Higher-tier axes unlock tougher trees and shorten the delay between swings. You can use an axe from your inventory or toolbelt once you meet its Woodcutting requirement.
LevelAxeSwingHow to get
Trees
Tree recovery begins after a tree is depleted. Every tree requires the listed Woodcutting level and axe.
