Fishing

Fishing is a gathering skill that allows players to catch fish from various fishing spots. Fish can be cooked and eaten to restore health.

Getting Started

To fish, keep the appropriate tool in your inventory or toolbelt and bring Fishing Bait. Approach a fishing spot and tap on it to start fishing. Different spots require different tools and levels.

Fishing Equipment

Better tools shorten the delay between attempts and improve your chance of catching fish. Every current fishing tool is sold by Fred.

Bait

All fishing methods consume Fishing Bait. Buy bait from Fred or make it at a Food Grinder from raw fish.

Fish by Method

Fishing spots recover after they are depleted. Net catches have a 25% chance to include Seaweed, while catching Raw Octopus has a 50% chance to include Octopus Venom.

Training Tips

1. Levels 1-22: Use a Fishing Net to catch Raw Shrimp, Raw Anchovies, and Raw Sardine.
2. Levels 22-45: Switch to Rod fishing for Raw Trout, Raw Bass, and Raw Salmon.
3. Levels 45-67: Use Cage to catch Raw Crab, Raw Lobster, and Raw Octopus.
4. Levels 67+: Harpoon fishing for the best XP rates with Raw Swordfish, Raw Shark, Raw Manta Ray, and Raw Tuna.
